This arm allows you to add a 6 inch mirror arm extension. One bolt connects this extension to your original shorter arm. Its hook holds it in place. The existing mirror head is moved to the end of this extension. It even swings back if you have a narrow garage door opening. These are the same diameter of the original arm so they match that size. Fits right or left. Comes primed and ready for paint of your choice. Sold each.
