(1947-59) Power Steering Conversion Kit

Power Steering Conversion Kit for 1947-59 Chevy Truck

Includes brackets and instructions for adapting late model (1968-76 Chevy pickup 2WD) part # 76-931 power steering box (not included) to truck.

Places the steering box on the outside of the frame in front of the axle. steering shaft passes through the inner fender skirt after you make a small notch in the skirt at the bottom. Must order a Pitman Arm, Part# 76-986 and a u joint kit. If using the original steering column you must order a Conversion lower bearing 76-987. 1/2 ton only.
